Mark has over 25 years’ experience in the Canberra Commercial Property Market having commenced his career with Jones Lang Wootton in 1988. In his 14 years at Jones Lang Wootton/LaSalle, Mark covered all sectors of the commercial market resulting in him becoming Director in charge of Sales and Leasing for the Canberra Office.

Over the past 25 years, Mark has worked extensively in the industrial, retail, commercial office sales/leasing and Project Development markets, establishing himself as one of Canberra’s leading and most respected operators. His ability to have coverage across all sectors of the market and understand the relationship between leasing and sales has allowed him to maximise results for his clients on many occasions. Over the past 5 years in particular Mark has developed a strong relationship with the development market, being very active in identifying development opportunities and working with clients on the design, marketing and sales and leasing of developments. Mark has also had significant experience in the marketing and sale of properties on behalf of both the Commonwealth and ACT Governments.

In July 2002, Mark purchased the LJ Hooker Commercial Canberra business with his partner, Steve Scifleet. In their time operating LJ Hooker Commercial Canberra, Mark and Steve have grown their management portfolio by 100% and their sales and leasing turnover by 100%. Since the merger to become Ray White Commercial Canberra, Mark has stayed on to manage the high performing Sales and Leasing team.
